I invest part of the income I earn through my work in founders and projects I believe in. It is a concrete way to share the risk, show trust and, when relevant, put my experience and network at the service of their success.

Why I invest
During my first entrepreneurial venture, I pitched my project to many Business Angels willing to listen to an opportunity, trust a team and commit their own money. It felt natural to offer that same attention, support and trust to entrepreneurs who need it to launch or accelerate their project.
Through my experience as an entrepreneur, CTO and CTPO, I have learned to assess a startup as a whole: value proposition, business model, acquisition, product, technology, organization, funding and execution capability. I can therefore challenge a strategy, frame a development plan, contribute to a key hire, open my network or identify the right support and R&D programs.
This involvement never removes entrepreneurial risk. It does, however, help me understand it better and sometimes help the team reach a decisive milestone faster.
Professionalizing my approach
I later complemented my direct investments with investments made through professional collectives. This allows me to learn from specialists, diversify my strategy and access generally more mature companies, with clearer markets and deeper analysis.
I deliberately remain discreet about the investment vehicles involved. What matters here are the companies being supported and the value that a relevant introduction may bring them.
A commitment that pushes me to improve
Investing money earned through my work keeps me demanding of myself.
To keep investing, I must continue to deliver high-value services, improve and maintain a professional positioning at the upper end of the market. Part of the value I create is therefore reinvested in new entrepreneurial ventures.
